Seekh Kabab Recipe
Seekh kabab Recipe is a popular South Asian grilled dish made from spiced minced meat—usually beef, mutton, or chicken molded onto long metal skewers (called seekh) and cooked over charcoal or a grill. Known for their smoky aroma, tender texture, and rich flavor, seekh kababs are commonly served with naan, paratha, or rice and paired with mint chutney, onions, and lemon.
They are enjoyed as a main dish, starter, barbeque item, or even used inside wraps and rolls, making them a versatile and flavorful part of traditional cooking.

Ingredients
- Minced meat (beef or mutton, medium fat): 1 kg
- Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
- Fresh coriander: ½ cup, chopped
- Green chilies: 3–4, finely chopped
- Ginger paste: 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste: 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder: 1 tbsp
- Black pepper: 1 tsp
- Garam masala: 1 tsp
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Coal for smoke: 1 piece (optional)
- Oil: as needed

Method
- Add minced meat to a bowl and mix in onion, coriander, green chilies, ginger, garlic, and all spices.
- Mix everything very well so the spices blend properly with the minced meat.
- Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour for best flavor.
- (Optional) Give coal smoke for authentic BBQ aroma.
- Wet your hands and the skewer, then shape the meat mixture onto the skewer firmly.
- Grill on charcoal, gas grill, or in the oven until golden brown.
- Brush with a little oil while cooking to keep the kababs soft and juicy.
